My Work

What I do at Fishhook?
I listen to people's stories, solve problems through the use of design, and help visually articulate whatever message is trying to be communicated. There's so much visual noise in our culture, it is a constant challenge to make yourself heard. Good communication and design can help push your message above the noise.

Why I work here?
I love hearing people's stories, learning about them, and then finding a way to communicate that through design. I also love the heart and mission of the Fishhook team.

What I did before Fishhook?
Prior to Fishhook I was a designer at a branding and marketing firm in downtown Indy. I've been at Fishhook since 2011.

My home church?
Right now, Josh and I are in the process of finding a home church—and it's a hard process! Having grown up in the church, I now have a lot of empathy for church visitors.

What the Fishhook team thinks about Megan:

Evan says:"Megan caught our attention with the most beautifully - and professionally - crafted resume and cover letter package. She has continued to pay attention to the details that matter - our clients' stories and personalities."

Ben says: "Megan has a sharp eye and a soft heart. Her excellent work is a process of discovery alongside our clients that always portrays new truths and connections."

Lindsay says: "Megan and I love being silly with impersonations and made-up voices ... especially for our pets!"

Leah says: "I love Megan's tender spirit! She has such empathy for people and our clients that feeds her design work in significant and compelling ways."

Shawn says: "As a fellow introvert, I admire how Megan can step out of that shell when she is talking about one of her designs and is able to bring them to life."
