It’s amazing coming to work knowing good things lie ahead. I hope you enjoy working with your coworkers as much as I do mine.

Ahoy, Matey!

If you haven’t checked out the “Who Are We” pages for the Fishhook team recently, you should.  Go ahead, I won’t be offended, click over and check out each team member’s info…. I’ll wait.

I hope you noticed the additional picture in each of our rotator pages and had a bit of a chuckle. (If you didn't, they are also above.) You might see Evan dressed as a pirate or Lindsay looking a bit like Tina Fey.  A few ladies are sporting mustaches. And in my case, I’m dressed as a princess.

This is something I have really enjoyed in my two months at Fishhook – the fun, “don’t take yourself too seriously” atmosphere. It’s amazing coming to work knowing good things lie ahead.  Not only do we have a great time, but we are always striving to do our best work possible.  In some office environments, it’s impossible to do both at the same time, but not at Fishhook.

The team is comprised of stellar communicators, creative thinkers, designers, programmers and all together great people—people I’m anxious to see when I walk in the door each morning. The job of helping our clients reach people for Jesus is important work and I’m so blessed and grateful I get to do it with the Fishhook team.

Besides drawing pictures on our faces, we sometimes send each other funny videos to brighten the day, we are always anxious to hear what our coworkers did over their weekends and we love to commune over food.  All these things make our work environment enjoyable, relaxing and creative.

I hope you enjoy working with your coworkers as much as I do mine. I would love to hear what you do in your workplace to boost morale and camaraderie.

And if you need a little help getting started…go grab a Sharpie, a photocopy of your mugshot and doodle away! Email it to your officemates and you’ll definitely bring a smile to someone’s face.
