This month, we're excited to introduce Karlee from Awaken Church in Charleston, South Carolina as our newest Honorary Fishhooker of the Every Other Month!
We've recently started our relationship with Awaken Church and it's been a blast. We're supporting them through a monthly social media retainer and templated website project. Karlee is their Communications Director!
Humble and Hungry 100%! Karlee is a GO-GETTER. She juggles so much between being a present mom and also leading at the church. She shows up with passion, poise and sharp strategic thinking ... always ready to figure things out even when the path is unclear.
Karlee is just someone you want to be around. The first time we talked, I could tell she was SO deeply connected to and inspired by the mission of her church. She wants to lead well and do everything she can to point people to Jesus and help them take a next step at Awaken.
Karlee and her husband are both on staff at Awaken. And, it was the first church they attended together. So I think it would be fascinating for other leaders to hear how they balance working together but also for a place that holds such a special place in their faith story.
She is all-in at Awaken and in her community. I think it shows other leaders what's possible when you show up and lead with your whole heart.
