Monday's team lunch is a priority at Fishhook. Why?
- Monday lunch gives us an organized time to catch up after our weekend and connect as friends.
- Monday lunch is time to check the Fishhook vital signs. How are we doing individually and as a team on workload, schedules, new opportunities, social media plans, upcoming Fishhook events and more.
- It brings a bright spot to the Monday blues. (We love our work here, but we really love our weekends!)
- Why not Friday? Some workplaces have Friday lunches (or other later-in-the-week planning times), but Friday tends to be a ghost town around the Fishhook office. And other times throughout the week can be very busy as well. We have a culture that supports “work where you want, when you want.” Monday lunch is one of the few times when we all try to be in the office at the same time. Other than that, it’s ultra-flexible and Friday is most flexible of all.
- We follow Jesus’ example and eat together. Good things happen around the table.
What do you do in your work environment to stay connected, keep up-to-date, lift moods, foster flexibility and follow Christ’s example of breaking bread?
