Last week, our team at Fishhook hosted The Table — a free gathering for church communicators and ministry leaders to press pause, lean in and tackle a topic that’s shaping the future of the Church: understanding and reaching Gen Z.
We were blown away by the response:
More than a decade ago, churches were wrestling with the reality that Millennials were walking away from faith (and church) and we had to learn how to communicate hope in a digital-first world.
Now, the tide is shifting again.
Data shows Gen Z is surprisingly open to faith, spiritual practices and the real Jesus — not polished, not performative but present and powerful in everyday life.
And this is just the beginning! Our team is committed to continuing to learn, share and equip you so your church can reach your unique audience well in every season.
People often ask us why we host The Table — gather church leaders, pour time and energy into planning and open up space for conversations like these.
The answer is simple:
We know church communications is hard and holy work. It takes courage, creativity and a lot of faithfulness behind the scenes. The Table is our way to pour back into you, to share what we’re learning, encourage your team and remind you that you don’t lead alone.
And we’ll keep doing it. Because when your church communicates clearly and with heart, more people experience Jesus and lives are changed.
If you have questions about reaching Gen Z and/or you want us to teach this workshop at your church with your leaders, let us know … we’d love to take this topic on the road.
Just fill out this form and we’ll be in touch.
