Coronavirus Service Offer

Coronavirus

What support do you need?

This is a unique season with the Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation impacting so many in our nation and world. In your role at your church, we know that you are diligently planning and communicating so that people within your church and the surrounding community can be safe, healthy, well supported and encouraged to have faith and peace during this time.

Please know that we are thinking of you. Our Fishhook team is praying and wants to be a support to you and your team.

To get more specific, here are a few ways we could support you right now:

  • Creatively brainstorm and plan with you about your specific context in light of COVID-19. What are the needs of your congregation and community? How will you serve, support and continue connecting with people in the days and weeks ahead?

  • Quickly develop a communications plan/strategy to help you navigate this situation. What will your church offer in person? What can you offer online? There are many options no matter your church size or resources.

For example, thinking of your online efforts, if you’re set up to live stream already, there are many ways that you can maximize the opportunity to promote this and interact with people so they can submit prayer requests/be prayed with, respond to a serving opportunity during this season, get connected to a small group to be encouraged, etc.

If your church isn’t set up to live stream, that’s okay. You can still do something online even for this coming weekend. Consider doing a Facebook Live where your pastors would lead with some worship, a short talk and prayer time.

  • Help you prepare messaging and content to get an appropriate, encouraging message communicated to your audiences in the right way and time.

What questions do you have? What support do you need? I/we are ready to respond today and in the coming days. Feel free to email me.

Also, we will be offering a discounted rate for our services to anyone that needs support in March or April related to COVID-19 planning and communicating.

Praying for you and with you,

Leah
