FAME relied heavily on paper to communicate to short-term missions team members. They sent paper applications, mailed letters, spent hours building custom trip binders and printing out pages of trip specifics. The amount of hours it took staff to coordinate a short-term missions trip had limited the number of trips they could run each year. And, in this digital day and age, FAME knew that going paperless was crucial for growth and efficiency.
