Creative Ways to Connect and Energize

Bringing Your Church’s Brand Story to Life: Creative Ways to Connect and Energize

Your church’s brand is more than a logo, typefaces or colors - it’s your story. It’s the full experience people have when they encounter your church, rooted in your mission, calling, people and community. We call this your full brand experience - it's made up of everything people see, hear, experience and engage with related to your church.

At Fishhook, we help churches develop and live out their distinct brand story through strategy, messaging, visuals and experiences. And there can be such fun when churches get creative and bring their brand experience to life in unexpected ways that helps people connect with each other and share more with others!

Below are five of our favorite ideas throughout the years that have brought churches' brand story to life! Which of these ideas inspire you to think creativity for your congregation and to share with your community?

📸 1,000+ People = One Logo

To celebrate a big milestone, a church gathered more than 1,000 people to form the shape of their logo for an overhead aerial photo. What a powerful way to say: "We are the church!"

One team created a custom shoe charm for the church's kids! It helped make the fun connection to something they experience in person with their brand mark added - turning footwear into fun, on-the-go conversation starters for kids and adults.

🍪 Branded Cookie Cutter

Another church created a cookie cutter shaped like their logo - a dove - and used it to bake cookies for welcoming guests and to share with others in their community. What a sweet way to share about their identity and offer hospitality!

🍦 Branded Ice Cream Truck

A church wrapped an ice cream truck to serve their community and share their message. Who wants ice cream?! Yes, please!
