Join us in May for The Table, where we'll be talking volunteers: how to find them, how to keep them, and what you can do to help them - and your communications ministry - thrive!
Lauren Wright, communications director at Northview Church, will be our featured speaker. At our tables, we'll discuss:
- How can you work with volunteers in a communications ministry?
- Do you have a screening process for writers, editors and others before they are allowed to volunteer? If so, what does that entail?
- What do you do if you have to “fire” a volunteer from a communications, media or writing position?
- What is currently being done by paid staff that is something a volunteer could do well?
