Once a quarter, we get the opportunity to gather around The Table with friends to talk about how to make church communications more effective.

One of our past events was a tiered communications workshop at College Park Church!

"Tiered communications isn't about placing a value on something. It's about prioritizing." - Paul Spilker, College Park Church

Start with a self-assessment of your current communications efforts.
Ask yourself: What kind of drawer are you?

  • Junk drawer - It's pure craziness. Nothing goes together.
  • Mis-matched sock drawer - Everything belongs, but it's still messy and unorganized.
  • Silverware drawer - Everything is perfect and in its place.

Inspiration and Tips for Tiered Communications

  • There is no perfect system. It's about relationships.
  • It's so important for leadership to have a vision for this and to make these decisions with you.
  • Try to never say no. Start with asking, "What is the best way we can get this information out to your audience?" - Tip from Plainfield UMC
  • ”Do not despise these small beginnings, for the Lord rejoices to see the work begin” (Zechariah 4:10, NLT).
