A case study of our clients who went through website redesigns and what your church can learn.

You've probably been there before. You're deep into developing a new website. Over several weeks, you've gathered your team. You've thought through visual appearance, functionality, site organization, content, user engagement and more. You've painstakingly gathered all the content and photos for the new site. The site has been designed, programmed and tested in every way. You've learned how to manage the new site and made all the final tweaks. And then ... it goes live. TA-DA!! HOORAY!! WE DID IT!!

And just as you're about to fall on the couch and settle into a nice long nap, thinking, "That was a lot of work. Man, I'm so glad that project's over!" you realize the work of a website is never done. Don't misunderstand – you should absolutely celebrate this huge accomplishment, take a deep breath and maybe take a nap or two.

But then, if your team hasn't already, you will need to answer some important questions for the road ahead: How will we track the new website's engagement? Who will be responsible for maintaining each part of the site after launch? What kind of horsepower does our team need or have to keep the site current and clear? How will we keep the site engaging? What do we want to do in the next phase of the site?

A website is not something you launch and then walk away from without reassessing it for a long time. It's something that has to be nurtured, refined and refreshed over time, just like any other communications tool. It's the natural evolution of a website.

We developed this ebook to share case studies of several clients and give you 5 reasons why your site may need a redesign.
