This month’s award goes to … Josh Akin!

What is Josh’s connection with Fishhook? 

Josh is the Founder and Pastor at GraceBuilt Church in Waynesboro, Virginia and a longtime client of Fishhook. Over the years, GraceBuilt has utilized Fishhook’s services for their brand identity, website, marketing and general design needs. 

Which of Fishhook's core values does Josh most reflect? 

One of Fishhook’s values is W.O.O. (Winning Others Over): Relationships that ignite energy and momentum. We see Josh reflect this in his ministry work. Josh’s heartbeat is for his community and building relationships with those far from God.

If you were describing Josh to someone who has never met them, what would you say? 

Josh is a man on a mission. He loves his family, his church and his community. He eagerly wants to serve people in the Shenandoah Valley and help them to live out the Bible together. 

If someone had half an hour to spend with Josh, what would you recommend they pick Josh’s brain about? 

Ask Josh about his favorite small town in Virginia or his favorite coffee. 

What has Josh’s impact been on the Church at large? 

Josh continues to make a grace-filled, truth-focused impact on the Church at large. Josh brings lots of great energy to his church and his community.
