Our client, First Pres Maumee, just launched a new brand, and they were featured in the local paper. Check out what they had to say about the work!

What's one of our best days at Fishhook? It's when we come alongside one of our church clients, and through our ongoing relationship, coaching and work with them, we see that they truly get it – they improve the way they fish by improving the way they communicate. It could be their team and congregation rallying around a compelling mission and vision and bringing it to life. It could be assessing and improving their guest experience. It could be engaging their audience online through their website and social media. It could be making better decisions to help their congregation hear what's most important. It could be a successful outreach effort that engages the community and draws people in to the church. Whatever it is, when a church gets it, we're thankful, we celebrate and we cheer them on!

This year, we enjoyed working with First Presbyterian Maumee in Maumee, Ohio, on a communications assessment, new logo, tagline, website and Fishhook University's TeamSpeak.

First Pres Maumee committed to working first with TAG Consulting on strategic planning for three years and then to working with Fishhook for one year to implement necessary changes. They were committed to personal and corporate change over many years through intentional, prayerful and strategic decisions.

As we worked with First Pres Maumee, one of my favorite memories was to hear and see the history of their church – to walk through the original sanctuary, see the portraits of the town and church founders, understand their role in history and the impact they've had on this small northwest Ohio town.

Recently, First Pres Maumee launched their new brand identity and website with great excitement. And to their pleasant surprise, The Toledo Blade newspaper noticed the church's new logo and reached out to write an article about it! How great is that?

Check out what the newspaper and Senior Pastor Clint Tolbert had to say in the article. It's truly everything we would hope for a church to feel, think and do as a result of our work together. It's a good day for us and especially First Pres Maumee. Way to go, guys!
